Benefits of a My World OSHC program

My World Child Care offers Before and After School Hours programs that bring a wide range of benefits to youth, families and communities. After school programs can boost academic performance, reduce risky behaviours,  promote physical health, and provide a safe, structured environment for children.

My World offers academic support through a homework help service. Getting homework done whilst at out-of-school hours care (OSHC) can make everyone’s evening more pleasant and relaxing.  Studies also show that being in a before and after school program can result in better grades and fewer behavioural problems.

My World gives children a chance to connect with familiar children in a different environment, thus creating a sense of belonging. My World OSHC programs promote cooperation, support and respect.

Our methods involve providing opportunities for the children express ideas which are included in the planning of programs. Toys, equipment and experiences have also been carefully selected for each age group to foster children’s abilities and interests.

Vacation care programs are planned with the input of the children filled with lots of exciting activities, excursions and opportunities for children to continue to explore their interest, individuality and strengths.
