Our Kindy Program

The kindergarten program aims to help children to make friends, develop skills useful for life and develop a love of learning. To ensure a nationally consistent quality program is offered, the Government has developed the Early Years Learning Framework. The Framework focuses on play-based learning, communication and language (including early literacy and numeracy), emotional and social development and transition to schooling. You can read more about the Early Years Learning Framework at mychild.gov.au.

The exact same Government Framework that is used in schools is also used at My World Child Care Centres. Each My World centre also employs a qualified Early Childhood Teacher, just like at school.

Benefits of a daycare based program:

If you need your child looked after for long hours, then a My World centre will be most suitable as we are open from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm every weekday. You can use as much as little of those hours as you need. Our kindy programs are registered  for Child Care Benefit and the Child Care Rebate and our managers are fully trained to help you claim all that you are entitled to.

Kindergartens tend to operate on 3 days one week, 2 days the next, whereas My World centres are open Monday to Friday, even on school holidays.

If you have a child with siblings also needing care, My World would mean they could both attend the same service.

If you choose a My World centre, your child can be there from birth and can do the pre-school kindergarten program without having to go somewhere new and different.

No need to pack lunches.
My World centres provide all the meals your child needs whilst away from you. Created by a qualified nutritionist, meeting all the nutritional needs of your child.

Did you know that the three year old Kindy program offered at My World centres uses the exact same Learning Framework as a school based kindergarten?

A child is a gift whose worth cannot be measured except by the heart.
